Company History

Competitive Resources Incorporated (CRI) is a multi-state corporation established in January of 1997.

CRI began with the acquisition of certain assets of Kemper Management Services (KMS) from Encon Systems. The assets purchased included the Iowa and Maryland branch offices and equipment that remained from the former Kemper headquarters in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Services to KMS clients in those regions continued to be delivered in a professional and timely manner without interruption.

Building upon our reputation and expertise as an industry leader in the delivery of utility Demand Side Management (DSM) programs, CRI is now recognized throughout the utility industry for its excellence in providing professional and timely resource management services. With comprehensive industry experience and skilled personnel, we offer the in-depth and innovative solutions needed to succeed in today’s changing utility environment.
